When to stop an acne treatment after not seeing any results?
I've been using AcneFree Severe for a little over a month and a half and have seen NO positive results. my acne has not gotten any better, it has just stayed exactly the same. my question is, when is it time to say enough and that the product will not work for me? has it been long enough to accurately assume that it isn't going to work? is there an amount of time you should usually see results before giving up and trying a new product? thank you for your help

Need help with acne treatment?
I don't have acne bad but there are a few areas that breakout every now and then. I've tried all of the big names and Exposed. They all seemed to work for a period of time but after a year its like my face adapts to the product and it quits working. Just wondering if anyone else had this problem or any solutions.

I accidentally took an extra pill for my acne treatment?
Well, i got this acne medication called doxycycline and it said take ONCE a DAY instead of ONE every MEAL. now i thought i had to take it every meal, every day, so at the moment, I've eaten two not three . Should i call a doctor because i didn't take a huge overdose, it was just one extra that i shouldn't have. I'm still waiting if any overdose side effects come up so please answer S ThanksFYI its 100 mg

Hi, I'm a teen and I have acne on my forehead and chin. I used Proactiv for a few months but it has completely dried out my skin. I now have wrinkles and my skin is constantly flaking No moisturizers are working and I have to stop using Proactiv. But right when I stopped I broke out What should I use to keep my skin moisturized and acne free? I've read that I shouldn't use treatments with Benzoyl Peroxide, but I can't find any that work and don't have that Help?

I'm a high school girl, and I have VERY oily skin. I also have mild servere acne. But if I use the wrong cleanser, my face can get REALLY dry for alittle bit. I've been useing the Clean and Clear 3 step treatment since summer. The on with purple packageing but I think my skin has become immune to it. I also have a lot of clogged pores on my chin area. Epsom salt for an acne treatment?
Severe acne is hereditary in my family. Specifically I have it pretty bad on my back and shoulders. My dad suggested soaking in a bath of Epsom salt. Is this a good idea? Or will it irritate my skin?

Prescribed acne treatments?
I had really bad acne when I was younger and was put on accutane when I was 12. My dermatologist told me that I may eventually have to go back on because I took it at such a young age. A few years later I started taking Tetracycline pills while using topical Retin A. The Tetracycline made me nauseous so I stopped taking it although the Retin A somewhat helped . It's been a few more years since I took the tetracycline and I think I'm going to make an appointment with my dermatologist soon. Are there any other medications I can ask him about during my next visit? Prom is in June and I want my face to look better by then, but I don't want to go through the awful dry skin and monthly pregnancy tests and everything that comes along with accutane. Thanks so much.
